If the page is wider than the device screen, then the browser will have a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom. For several decades now, websites have scrolled only up and down, but not left/right. The presence of such scrolling is a sign of problems with the display of the page.

Sometimes left-to-right scrolling may be absent, but at the same time our tool shows its presence. Remember that search engine robots, like our service, determine the screen width programmatically, not visually. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the software gives the correct value. To check what information the browser provides about the screen width, run the JavaScript code document.body.scrollWidth in the browser console on your page. It will return the page width in pixels.
