Brand name in title
Often, the brand name is added to the end of the title after the dividing sign. For example, in the title “How to choose a smartphone? Step-by-step guide and checklist | Zen ” block ” | Zen” is the very name of the brand. If the brand name is sonorous, easy to remember and recognize, then this will increase the clickability of your site’s snippets in search results as recognition increases.
The brand must be:
- Short, no more than 2 words. Users will be able to remember only a short, sonorous name.
- Short, no more than 12 characters.
- Without punctuation. It will impair perception and readability.
- Separated by a slash without a space. Instead of “| Zen” it is better to use “/Zen” to save space in the title and not lose in ease of perception, recognition and readability.
You also need to make sure that the brand is always visible and not cut off due to the fact that the title is too long and the brand does not fit.
