"canonical" tag

For any page, you can come up with an infinite number of URL variations simply by adding a new parameter. For example https://example.com / and https://example.com /?k=123 lead to the same page. So that search engines don’t waste time with every variant of the page URL, and the canonical tag is needed. It specifies 1 canonical version of the page address.

This filter adds the section “/price-base-from-2004-to-2142/” to the page URL. That is, it is possible to make millions of page combinations simply by changing the filter by price. Configure canonical so that search engines ignore the price filter.

Without canonical, search engines can scan thousands of duplicate pages without having time to pay attention to really important pages. This way, search engines will spend their time on unique pages, not duplicates. This will have a positive impact on the number of pages participating in the search results.
